Gen X dad says… Solid debut album from this Canadian artist. Sounds familiar, but new. There’s a touch of The The and even Erasure in the delivery. Several tracks would be right at home in a David Lynch film. Highlights are Turn To Hate, Queen of the Rodeo, Big Sky, and Nothing Fades Like The Light.

Gen Z son says… Orville Peck’s blend of country, alternative rock, and indie pop definitely makes this album strong from start to finish. Turn To Hate is probably one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. Catchy melodies throughout, great lyrics, and awesome instrumentals. Can’t wait for more stuff from this artist!
